The Guild
Bridge Builders Guild has roots deep in the Helsinki SME scene. It started as a club of similarly minded, internationally aspiring entrepreneurs. From the ashes of Lehman Brothers rose a new BBG, bigger and stronger than ever, with plans for a global network.
The Guild was opened for everyone, and the proven tools – before only available to a selected few – were introduced to all entrepreneurs.

It’s all about Networks
Stepping outside Your country can be intimidating, especially if You are going about it alone. This is where networks come into play.
The origins of BBG lay in early 2000′s discussions between entrepreneurs seeking international growth. We soon realised the similarity of our individual problems, and decided to pool our efforts for the common good. We started to travel to Business destinations (even meetings) in groups, and found that previously closed doors opened to a group big enough. Force in numbers, at a grassroots level.
The Next step was to pool our contacts and share them between the group. People met at during the trips soon formed a group of their own – accessible to all Guild members. The 2008 – 2009 depression took out some of the “old gang”, and a decision was made to open the Guild to new members. Or to everyone, to be more precise.
Today, the Guild services the same target group as in the beginning – Internationally aspiring entrepreneurs. Only the group is bigger than ever. The 10 years of activities have established a proven and well-operating format of establishing into new markets. Most mistakes have already been made, and the lessions learned.
Join us and become a member of the Guild. The 100 euro, 12-month membership fee covers our costs, BBG does not have full time employees. We are a growing network, solely dedicated to enhancing SME owners’ possibilities for international growth.
